Over the summer, two of my best friends and I went to see one of our all time favorite bands-- Paramore. We went to the Verizon Ampitheater on a hot summer day to see the No Doubt concert featuring special guest Paramore. We even made t-shirts to wear. The concert rocked. It was a great time

For TDP 2040 at Mizzou, you have to do 20 hours of "service learning." I took this assignment as an opportunity to finally volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters. Another college student and I took out two girls (ages 8 and 9) every week. I will never forget the first time I picked up one of the littles. She was so excited to finally meet me. Making conversation, I asked her how church was and she told she that she had a hard time concentrating because she knew she was going to get a big that day. Volunteering with BBBS made me realize how a little bit of your time can impact someone else tremendously.
Some time has passed since I last wrote, but I have completed a few more things on my list. Number 28 was to share an apartment with my best friend. In August, Larissa and I moved into our own apartment. It's really nice. It's weird to have a place of our own. Since moving in, we've had numerous get togethers at our place. We are such party planners.
Have you ever thought about all the things that you wanted to do before you died? Ever written it down? Well, that's what a "bucket list" is. Travel to England. Ride in a hot air balloon. Get a tattoo. The list keeps growing, but the goal is to accomplish as much as you can. Life is short so enjoy every minute of it.
