#71- See Paramore in concert.

Over the summer, two of my best friends and I went to see one of our all time favorite bands-- Paramore. We went to the Verizon Ampitheater on a hot summer day to see the No Doubt concert featuring special guest Paramore. We even made t-shirts to wear. The concert rocked. It was a great time

#59- Become a “big sister”

For TDP 2040 at Mizzou, you have to do 20 hours of "service learning." I took this assignment as an opportunity to finally volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters. Another college student and I took out two girls (ages 8 and 9) every week. I will never forget the first time I picked up one of the littles. She was so excited to finally meet me. Making conversation, I asked her how church was and she told she that she had a hard time concentrating because she knew she was going to get a big that day. Volunteering with BBBS made me realize how a little bit of your time can impact someone else tremendously.

#28- Share an apartment with my best friend.

Some time has passed since I last wrote, but I have completed a few more things on my list. Number 28 was to share an apartment with my best friend. In August, Larissa and I moved into our own apartment. It's really nice. It's weird to have a place of our own. Since moving in, we've had numerous get togethers at our place. We are such party planners.

#70- See Taylor Swift in concert.

On April 25, 2009 I complete ANOTHER thing on my bucket list. Three of my best friends and I headed to STL to see one of my all time favorite singers, Taylor Swift, in concert.

We first went to a park in town to take pictures and then were headed to the big city. Getting there was interesting, but we finally made it and had such a great time at the concert.

It was so great. I loved singing along to all of my favorite songs at the top of my lungs with some amazing people.

I'd also like to thank my mom for getting the tickets. I couldn't have went if it wasn't for you. THANKS! I love you. ♥

It was a fantastic concert and I am so glad that I got to go. Another thing checked off my list!

#65- Write down a list of my regrets and burn it.

On April 24, my friend Meghan had a bonfire and was instructed to bring "bad memories" (photographs, love letters, bad grades, etc...) to burn. This was a perfect opportunity to burn my list of regrets. I typed up a list of things in the past few years I regretted (not everything, of course... Just the big things that popped into my mind) and printed it along with a few other things that I thought could "go up in flames." I also burnt an old photograph. We had a lot of fun at the bonfire and it was nice to burn all those things-- SPRING CLEANING for the soul.

Write down a list of regrets and burn it? CHECK!

#48- Get a tattoo

Another task completed!

My tattoo.

On March 21, a group of us got together to go to the Mexican restaurant. We had a lot of fun, but the night was far from over! Christy was ready for another tattoo. I finally made the decision of what I wanted and just decided to go for it. After going to three different tattoo parlors, we finally found the right place. Christy went first, getting a palm tree of her lower side of her back. Then Katie decided to get another. She got a wooden cross with a pink flower on her shoulder. AND THEN... It was my turn! I knew that I wanted to get a bird to symbolize "spreading your wings" and "flying". After doing a little looking around, I found a tattoo of a bird, which I really liked. Doves are always great, because they symbolize peace. I was finally ready! I sat in the tattoo chair and waited while my tattoo artist Jimbo got ready.

Ouch...

The tattoo defiantly hurt, but I could defiantly do it again. In fact, I think I might! I'm really happy with my tattoo and I'm glad that I got it.

Ok... It wasn't that bad!

#35- Karaoke

On the night of March 20, I went to Sportsman Bar and it was karaoke night. I got my courage up at sang "Since You've Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson. The lyrics are posted below.

Here's the thing we started off friends
It was cool but it was all pretend
Yeah yeah
Since you've been gone

You dedicated you took the time
Wasn't long till I called you mine
Yeah Yeah
Since you've been gone

And all you'd ever hear me say
Is how I pictured me with you
That's all you'd ever hear me say

But since you've been gone
I can breathe for the first time
Im so movin on
Yeah yeah
Thanks to you
Now I get
What I want
Since you've been gone

How can I put it? you put me on
I even fell for that stupid love song
Yeah yeah
Since you've been gone

How come I never hear you say
I just wanna be with you
I guess you never felt that way

But since you've been gone
I can breathe for the first time
Im so movin on
Yeah yeah
Thanks to you
Now I get
I get what I want
Since you've been gone

You had your chance you blew it
Out of sight, out of mind
Shut your mouth I just can't take it
Again and again and again and again

Since you've been gone
I can breathe for the first time
Im so movin on
Yeah yeah
Thanks to you (thanks to you)
Now I get
I get what I want
I can breathe for the first time
Im so movin on
Yeah yeah
Thanks to you (thanks to you)
Now I get (I get)
You should know (you should know)
That I get
I get what I want
Since you've been gone
Since you've been gone
Since you've been gone
